摘要


尼日利亚凯恩吉湖流域水产养殖中男性、妇女和青年之间现有的权力差异阻碍了对性别角色和经济差异的研究。具体而言,研究评估了水产养殖中生产资源的来源、性别角色、成本和回报以及现存的性别差距。采用调查设计、两阶段抽样方法,从229个养鱼农民中选出81名男性和39名妇女。数据采用描述性统计,用预算技术和性别差距比率分析。主要结果表明,男性和青年通过继承和购买直接获得土地,而妇女(61%)通过家庭关系获得土地。男性和男性青年在池塘准备、鱼种放养、鱼类管理和捕捞后活动中承担了大部分性别角色,而妇女和女性青年则积极参与鱼类管理、石灰处理和分级。经济指标表明,男性和青年的投资回报率高于妇女,这表明这种权力差异仍然存在。因此,建议将妇女组织成团体,以增强其权能。这将使她们能够通过渔业分工利用集体力量。
