nced his studies at the Qinghai Provincial Tibetan Research Institute, and further enhanced his academic abilities in mainland China. He worked as a translator at the Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission and, as a member of the “Tibet Pilgrimage Delegation,” traveled to Tibet to foster Sino-Tibetan relations. During this period, he became a disciple of Master Sikong Tongba, achieving increasing mastery in Tibetan studies. Subsequently, he accompanied the master to mainland China for lectures and political service, holding positions such as translator and secretary, dedicating his life to bridging Han and Tibetan cultures. Mr. Yang made outstanding contributions in Han-Tibetan translation, Tibetan studies, border consolidation, and ethnic education. This article focuses on his research in Tibetan studies and Han-Tibetan translation practices, briefly outlining his pioneering efforts in promoting Sino-Tibetan cultural exchange, fostering emotional ties, facilitating ethnic interaction and integration, and exp
